March 5, 2020 – Spring Forward

There has never been a more important time to go all in with our church than right now. Our focus has turned toward Easter, and we need you to go there with us.

Easter is April 12

Last year, we saw over 1,100 people attend Christ Community on Easter Sunday. After spending time thinking and praying, we have decided to host three services this year instead of two. Our Easter services will be held at 8:30 am, 10:00 am, and 11:30 am. You can find more information here.

We want to make sure people have a great experience with us at Christ Community. To help us prepare for Easter, we need you to do four things:

1. Serve! Over the next few weeks, we’re having Serve Connect before and after both services. If you are not currently serving, you can find more information at Serve Connect. You can also find more information about serving here. If you are already on a team, make sure your leader knows you’re available to serve on Easter Sunday.
2. Invite! Begin thinking now about who you can invite to Easter Sunday.
3. Adjust! We know 10 am will be our busiest service, so we need you and your family to consider attending the 8:30 am or 11:30 am service to make room for guests.
4. Pray! Pray that people would be saved, baptized, and take their next steps in their faith on Easter Sunday.

Good Friday is April 10

Some of my favorite moments at Christ Community are the special services we do throughout the year. Last year’s Good Friday service was incredibly memorable, reflective in tone, and Christ-centered. Don’t miss this special service on Friday, April 10 at 7 pm. Find more info here!

Member’s Meeting is March 15

If you are a member of Christ Community, I hope you will join me and the rest of our members on Sunday afternoon, March 15, beginning at 5:00 pm. We will gather together to worship, take communion, hear ministry updates, and celebrate all the Lord is doing in our midst. This meeting is for all members, but we invite any regular attenders who desire to listen in.

Reclaim is March 29

With so many different voices telling us who we should be and what we should be doing, it can sometimes be difficult to know what’s right. Thankfully, our Heavenly Father has told us, through his word, who we are and how to respond. At Reclaim, our women will discuss principles from the Bible on what emotions, thoughts, actions, and responses he’s calling them toward. Join our women’s ministry for an evening of discussion, worship, and connection. We’ll provide light refreshments.
Limited childcare is available upon request. Click here to register.
Don’t forget the time change this weekend. Thanks for your faithfulness to the ministry of Christ Community Church. God is doing a special work among us. Let’s walk together faithfully making gospel-centered disciples among all people for the glory of God. As always, I’m grateful to be your pastor.
To the end of the earth,
–Pastor Ronnie
