This Week at Christ Community | Serving Together February 13, 2020

We had an incredible Sunday talking about meeting needs in the church so that the ministry of the Word and prayer can continue. As we have preached the Word faithfully, our church has grown, which means we have a whole lot of needs that need to be met.

We have needs in all of our ministry teams, including Kids’ Ministry, Student Ministry, College Ministry, Hospitality, and more. We want to be intentional about getting people plugged in and developing our volunteers as leaders. Our goal is to recruit 50 new volunteers by April 1. Help us meet our goal by applying to serve here!

Leadership Summit with Dr. Jimmy Scroggins

In an effort to develop our volunteers as leaders, we’re hosting a Leadership Summit with Dr. Jimmy Scroggins on February 24 at 6:30pm. Rally your community groups, gather your volunteer teams, and join us.

This will be a valuable event for anyone at any level, and all are welcome. If you want to grow as a leader, join us that night at 6:30pm. Chick-fil-a boxed dinners and childcare will be provided for free. Please register for this event here so we can plan accordingly.

Growth Track

We’ve gotten a lot of questions about Growth Track. This past week, we started a new Growth Track series, with 28 people in attendance! This is incredible. It’s not too late for you to join and learn how you can take your next step at Christ Community. Register here!

Widows Banquet

Our annual Widows Banquet is coming up on March 1. This is a way that our church cares for a group that’s often forgotten. If you know of a widow who might enjoy this event, please register them here as we seek to be a blessing to those who need it.
This Sunday, we’ll be diving into the story of Stephen and how God used his faithfulness to advance the gospel. Come ready to worship the Lord together!

See you Sunday,

– Pastor Ronnie
