| Our church is in the middle of 21 days of prayer and fasting, and I hope it’s been an encouraging time for you. The purpose of fasting is to redirect our attention and affections. It causes us to remember why we’re fasting and to go to the Lord in prayer at that time. If you’ve fallen short in your fast, don’t be discouraged. You can re-start today! If you’ve neglected prayer during your fast, resolve today to spend time with God. Together, we’re praying that God would move in big ways in our church. | Our Financial Peace University (FPU) class begins soon, and I want to strongly encourage you to be a part of it. Whether you feel you’re drowning in debt or you’re looking to develop an investment strategy for your family, FPU can help. In the class, you’ll receive the tools you need to handle your finances in a wise, biblical manner. The result of putting those principles into practice will be financial security that leads to generous living, just as God intends for His people. Student Winter Retreat is Almost Here!
| Our student ministry is fired up for the Winter Retreat at Crowder’s Ridge. More than 70 students are planning to attend, but we’ve still got a few spots available. The weekend will feature ropes courses, snow tubing, paintball, and more. But better than that, the retreat will give students a chance to connect with God and with one another.
