This Week at Christ Community | A Special Christmas Sunday | December 19, 2019

In This Week at CCC by Ronnie Parrott

This Christmas has been such a special time. We had an awesome Christmas Concert last Sunday. Our worship team worked hard and did an incredible job. If you missed it, go check our Facebook page to find the full video!

But the season is not over yet! This Sunday will be special as we gather to sing Christmas hymns and take communion as a church family. It’s important to gather at this time of year to remember that the manger points us to the cross. We are excited to remember Christ’s birth on Sunday, so don’t miss it!

Christmas Eve Services

This year’s Christmas Eve candlelight services will be at 3:30 and 5:00 pm. We intentionally keep these services shorter and focused on worship with a shorter message on the birth of Christ. You will love our Christmas Eve candlelight service, so we hope you will bring your family and invite someone to come along with you. We look forward to celebrating with you and your family.

Christmas Missions Offering 2019: Multiply

I want to encourage our church to consider giving a special gift to our Christmas Missions Offering (CMO). Whether you give $25 or $500, ask God how he wants to use your generosity this Christmas. This year’s CMO is focused on seeing churches revitalized and planted in Charlotte. Multiply is our way of coming together to serve the city by supporting new churches. You can follow this link to give to the CMO right now.

Finally, be sure to pray. 2020 will bring new opportunities for ministry and making gospel-centered disciples. We’re excited about what the Lord is doing, and we need you to partner with us in prayer. We will start a 21-day fast on January 5 so we can start the year intentionally. Pray about how God might want you to join us in our 21 days of prayer.

Love you, church. See you Sunday!
