Mother’s Day and Parent/Child Dedication This Sunday

This Sunday is Mother’s Day! You’ll have an opportunity to have a family photo taken with your mom both before and after the service. We look forward to celebrating mothers and families this weekend.

We will also be celebrating several young parents who will stand before our church family and declare their commitment to raise their children according to the principles set forth in God’s Word. Join with us as we commission these parents as they lead forward in their homes.

VBX Volunteers

One of my favorite events of the summer is our annual VBX for kids. As you look toward June, if your schedule allows it, please block off the mornings of June 25-30 to help us invest spiritually in kids! Last year we saw over 250 kids at our church, far exceeding our expectations. You can register to volunteer by following this link.

Student Camp Matters!

This summer, our students are headed to camp at Liberty University July 9-13. I cannot encourage you enough to send your students to Student Camp! It’s important for their spiritual growth, and God will use this week to impact their life! Bible study and sermons from David Nasser will focus on the theme “I Am,” giving students a clear picture of who God is and how He relates to His children. Follow this link for more info.

Special Pittsburgh Announcement

The response to our announcement of planting a church in Pittsburgh has been incredible. Many have shown interest in going, some have already committed to go, and others are still praying through it. We’ve had money given toward the church plant, and others have committed to pray for it. I’ll be sharing a special update this Sunday regarding our partnership in Pittsburgh. Our church is very committed to seeing this work succeed in the wonderful city of Pittsburgh!

Sunday’s Sermon Text

This Sunday we will dive into Mark 7:45-56 to see where Jesus finds himself as we continue in our study through Mark. This has been a rich study for me personally and our church corporately. As we plan to meet together, please take a few moments to pray! Here are a few ways you can pray:

  • Pray for our worship team as they lead us.
  • Pray for every person who will sit in every chair, asking the Lord to convict hearts, save, and bring repentance where needed.
  • Pray for God to meet our weekly budget need of $27,800 as we worship through giving.
  • Pray for me as I prepare to preach.

Let’s believe God, knowing he’s able to do much more than we ever expect! Praying with you for Sunday.

See you Sunday,

Pastor Ronnie
