THIS WEEK AT CHRIST COMMUNITY // April 6, 2018

Life Change on Easter
Easter weekend was incredible! Despite Spring Break starting on Friday for many of our schools, we saw hundreds of people descend on our campus to reflect on the death of Jesus for our Good Friday service and celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

We saw nearly 400 in attendance at our Good Friday service and just shy of 1,000 people at our two Easter services. More importantly, we saw 3 people baptized, 6 people surrender their lives to Christ, and we commissioned 20 students and adult leaders on a mission trip to Atlanta to share the gospel! We rejoice in life change!!!

Thank you to so many of you who prayed for our services and served faithfully at one of our two services. Our church is able to do what we do because of our faithful volunteers! Also, thanks to our incredible staff team and worship team who worked so hard to make sure everything went well!

Now we are hard at work doing the detailed work of follow-up! Each and every decision made for Christ is important for us. We work diligently to make sure we help those who believed Christ gets into a discipleship relationship asap. Please pray for us!

Membership Class

If you have not formally joined with Christ Community through membership, then I invite you to lock arms with us officially this Sunday. Our membership class is designed to give you all the info you need for what it looks like for your family to join with our church as we seek to make gospel-centered disciples among all people for the glory of God.

This class will start immediately following our morning service, from around 11:45 to 2:00 p.m., and will include childcare and lunch. You can register by following this link.

Sermon Series

I will continue in the Beyond the Grave sermon series this Sunday by looking at the ascension of Jesus to heaven and answering the question,“What does the ascension have to do with me?” The ascension of Jesus has much to do with who we are and what we do now.

Financial Update this Sunday
I will be giving a brief financial update this Sunday regarding our current budget and our We Believe campaign. I continue to pray for the Lord to wipe away our financial debt. I hope you will make it a priority to join with us at 10:30 a.m. to worship Jesus together. I look forward to worshiping with you!

See you Sunday,

Pastor Ronnie
