As prepare for Sunday, I’ve been reminded so many times this week of our great need for spiritual awakening to come to America. What took place in Las Vegas late Sunday night is pure evil. It’s an absolute atrocity. We must plead for God to bring awakening to our Country.
This coming Sunday, I will preach on our sixth Core Value, Prayerful Dependence. What perfect timing. God has been working these details together for some time and I’m grateful for his perfect plan to allow us to address such a subject after a terrible tragedy. I hope you will join us as we worship the Lord and hear what he has to tell us through his Word. I’ll be preaching from 2 Chronicles 20. Read it and prepare your hearts for the Word.
The following Sunday, October 15, I’ll be sharing with the church a sermon called “Vision 2020.” In our Defining Our Future series, we’ve talked a lot about who we are. This sermon will address “where we’re going.” In my sermon, I’ll preach towards where I believe God wants us to be as a church by the end of 2020. I can’t wait.
