MINISTRY RESIDENT

Josh is a ministry resident serving as a pastoral assistant. Josh grew up in a Christian home as a pastor's kid and later a Navy chaplain's kid when his dad joined the service. After high school, he enlisted in the Army and spent 5 years as an active-duty medic.
During this time he felt the Lord calling him toward ministry as a chaplain. He then completed his undergrad in psychology online through Liberty University before leaving the service to begin working on his Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2020. At RTS, Josh met his now-wife Sarah who is a fellow student at RTS. Josh has previously served as a ministry intern at a church and is currently an Army Chaplain Candidate in the Reserves. Now, Josh and Sarah are coming to the end of their studies and are excited to be stepping into ministry at Christ Community and eventually the United States Army. At Christ Community, Josh will be helping the teaching ministries in a variety of ways, including organizing the Christ Community Institute, assisting in sermon preparation, creating resources, and assisting in other pastoral ways.
