January 7 – Start with Prayer

Our church is a praying church. Our families need prayer, our church needs prayer, and America needs prayer. Prayer is the need of the hour. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

In these days, it is of the utmost importance that we rejoice in life, pray without ceasing and live evermore for God’s mission. I am thankful to be apart of a church that loves the Great Commission and shows it through their love and generosity.

Generosity On Display

I love that Christ Community has a heart for the nations and you continue to show it through your generosity to the 2020 Christmas Missions Offering (CMO). I called our church to a hit a goal of $40,000, and you responded generously! The total amount given to this years CMO is $43,715! Praise the Lord!

Every penny of the CMO will go straight to International missions through our partnership with the International Missions Board, which which supports  missionaries all across the world. Missionaries who are taking the gospel to some of the most dangerous places across the world. I am so proud of you, church!

Thank you for your generosity!

New Year, New Series

This Sunday, we will continue walking through Proverbs 3 together in our “Better Than” series. If you missed last Sunday, you can catch up here OR on our new church app!

We recently rolled out the new Christ Community App. Available for Android and iPhone, this app will help you stay connected to our church while you’re on the go. With the app you can find info about events, our Bible in a Year plan, sermons, and more.

If you haven’t downloaded it yet, I want to encourage you to do so now! I’ve provided links for both Android and iPhone users.

This app is just another way we’re trying to make it easy for you to take steps forward in your faith. If I can help in any other way, please let me know.

How can I pray for you?

I know we all have things going on in our lives that we’re not meant to carry alone. Is there a prayer need in your life? I want to know! How can I be praying for you?

  • Do you have a personal need?
  • Do you have a financial need?
  • Do you have a family need?
  • Do you have a job need?
  • Do you have a health need?

What is YOUR need? What are you asking God for? Take a few minutes, let me know how I can pray for you.

As always, I look forward to seeing you Sunday for another opportunity to be together and worship our Lord. I hope you’ll join us in person or online!

Advancing God’s Kingdom Together,

Pastor Ronnie
