Christ-Centered Parenting Class

On Sunday, September 8th, we will be diving into scripture to see what God has to say about parenting.  With help from texts written by John Rosemond (Parenting by the Book) as well as Tedd Tripp (Shepherding a Child’s Heart), we will examine parenting the children of today according to Scripture.  We will cover a multitude of topics and discuss Bible-centered strategies that will help parents in every area as they “train up a child in the way that he/she goes…”

This study will be led by Shane Ridgeway who currently serves as the Head of School here at Lake Norman Christian School. Shane is a current PhD candidate in Biblical Leadership and has been heavily involved in teaching parents and students alike for 20 years in both the school setting and through service in the church where he has held the office of associate pastor. A father of two boys, Evan (14) and Truett (9) and a husband to Holly for 20 years, he has had the unique opportunity to open Scripture and use it to counsel parents through the early years of child rearing all the way through the college years.

This class will meet in Building A in Room A-115.
