Day 5: A Prayer of Submission
James 4:7-8a “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you…”
Ultimately, God’s will for our lives is for us to be in perfect relationship with Him. James shows us how we do this. Submit to God. Hate your sins. Will you choose to submit to this world or submit to God? Pray for God to reveal the areas in your life where you need to turn from sin and submit to Him. Use your time fasting today to think about how you can draw near to God.
