Day 13: A Prayer about Missions
Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
How often do you consider the purpose of the Spirit’s filling? The Holy Spirit empowers us to be gospel witnesses locally, nationally, and globally. Could it be that while we’re waiting for the Holy Spirit to empower us to “go” the Holy Spirit is waiting for us to take the first step of faith? Have you considered going on mission through Christ Community? Focus today on asking God not if, but where he wants you to go.
