Day 12: A Prayer for our President and Vice President
1 Timothy 2:1-2, “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.”
It is often said that the peaceful transition of power is something that sets the U.S. apart from other countries. Americans Christians have the freedom to worship without fear of being arrested or worse. Take a moment this morning and thank God for allowing you to live where you do. Pray today for President Trump and Vice President Pence. Pray for God’s wisdom for those in authority over you so that you would be able to live a quiet, godly and dignified life in every way.
